To follow developing issues and public relations concerns for our clients, NORISinfo uses its customized INFORMS information monitoring system to compile important data with concise and thorough analysis of news, research and commentary.   Sources include news databases, such as Factiva and Lexis-Nexis, combined with data from Internet news , television/radio, blogs and social media outlets.   There are three key products that can comprise the monitoring process:

1.  Breaking news e-mails alert a key contact at the company to an important issue that impacts the corporation and its products , the industry or a key competitor.  These alerts are issued throughout the day as needed , and especially focused on key media sources identified by the client.

 2.  Topic-specific news roundups (daily, semi-weekly, weekly) are sent to the client to summarize recent media coverage of a key announcement or news story about a specific product, announcement, issue or competitor on a busy news day or week.

3.   Customized daily, semi-weekly or weekly summaries of other news and information that may impact the client in terms of issues management, product marketing or health and safety are developed to provide a value-added overview of the current pharma landscape or trending for specific product issues.

All of these documents utilize the following INFORMS approach to information gathering and business intelligence.
